New Horsey

Ava got a new horse for her birthday. She loves it. It plays horse sounds, clip-clops, and sings "Home on the Range."

Georgia Greatgrandparents

We spent the weekend in Columbus, GA with my grandparents (Ava's greatgrandparents). It was her 2nd visit to Georgia. She had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed Meme's cooking!

Daycare Party

Ava had a little birthday party at daycare on her actual birthday. She would have been queen for the day, but she had to share her birthday with another kid. What are the odds?

Turning One!

We had Ava's birthday party at the tailgate prior to the Auburn vs. MSU game on Saturday. (she won't be one till Wed.) The winds were really whipping from hurricane Ike, but that didn't dampen Ava's enthusiasm for cake. I've never seen a baby so expertly dive into a whole cake!

Ava enjoyed opening her presents, but she really loved her new coat hangers!

New Blocks

Ava likes playing with her new massive foam blocks almost as much as we do. Who doesn't like building with giant blocks?

After lots of trash talking from Emma and Ellie, Ava really wants to give agility a try.
