Above is just an innocent basket of Easter Eggs...but when you turn out the lights...a magical egg wonderland! We hid these over and over tonight and AK had the best time. It really was neat to see!
Maybe not Music City, maybe just Tupelo. These decorated guitars can be found throughout the city with Elvis images, and AK just decided to pose with this one outside of Reed's today. She is actually playing the one on top.
We spent most of today at MSU. We took in a baseball game, some softball, and tennis. Unfortunately, only the tennis team won, but we still had a great time enjoying the gorgeous spring weather. I think in this photo AK has a mouth full of skittles.
From the tennis center you can see the track, Shira fieldhouse, Baseball field, and Basketball coliseum. The softball field was right behind us.
AK had such a great time flying her kite this week. She even got to take it to school and her teacher flew hers the highest! Evidently that is very exciting for a 4 yr old. She keeps talking about how Grandpa taught her to fly a kite and she wishes she could go back to his house and fly one.
This is a cautionary tale for leaving your camera where a small child can find it. You never know what you are going to download!
Just a little update for those concerned about Sally the foster pup...she boarded a transport on Thursday morning heading to New England. She was to be united with her new family, including a 7 year-old-daughter, this morning in New Hampshire where she will live on 2 acres and hopefully have a very nice life!
This is Sally, our foster puppy for the next 11 days until her journey north to a new home. Ava finally has what she has always wanted...a dog that follows her every step and plays with her constantly. She looks so much like Ellie when she was that age.
