Sally Update

Just a little update for those concerned about Sally the foster pup...she boarded a transport on Thursday morning heading to New England. She was to be united with her new family, including a 7 year-old-daughter, this morning in New Hampshire where she will live on 2 acres and hopefully have a very nice life!

Tattoos

One of Ava Kathryn's favorite things right now is tattoos. It's even better when sharing with friends! At least for now they are temporary!

Cousins

AK got to play with her 3rd cousins over the weekend. She had so much fun!

Foster the Puppy

 This is Sally, our foster puppy for the next 11 days until her journey north to a new home. Ava finally has what she has always wanted...a dog that follows her every step and plays with her constantly. She looks so much like Ellie when she was that age.

Baseball Season is Here!

 Outside Dudy Noble Stadium at MSU for a baseball game. AK was actually asking questions about the game. Yea! She usually just wants to walk around the outfield. We really enjoyed hanging out on campus soaking up all of the sunshine and the pre-spring weather on Saturday. It was also a nice distraction from our basketball losing skid.

Time in G'ville

 Instead of staying in Greenville for the week with Gigi and Grandpa while we were skiing, they kept AK while I was recouperating from surgery. She is already asking to go back.

 This piece of equipment at Hardy Park is older than me...wonder how many layers of paint are actually on that thing?!

 Puzzle time with grandpa and Uncle Mark. This was her first puzzle of 100 pieces...that's bigtime!
