No Training Wheels Required

She just decided to take off without training wheels, and a lightbulb must have gone off. She took off and hasn't stopped since. As soon as she started riding she was singing this song: "I'm riding my bike without training wheels!" Imagine a catchy little tune. She has a song for all occasions. Pawpaw, I guess she is already training for the next bike rodeo!

End of the School Year

AK's class put on the cutest program. She was the farmer's wife and sang "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". The whole class did such a great job!
After the program, they had a preschool graduation. Only 5 from their class will actually be going on to Kindergarten, so it seemed a little silly. They were really cute, though.

Family Scrapbook Weekend!

It's that time of year again when all the scrappers in my family get together to hang out, share ideas, eat, and of course produce several scrapbook pages! AK has gotten the bug and wanted to work on her pages all weekend...thanks to her excellent tutor, cousin Rebekah.

Happy Memorial Day!

We had a super fun Memorial Day! Hope everyone else did as well. This is a slide at the country club for the day. Not exagerating...I think AK probably went down about 100 times. She did the circuit for about 2.5 hours! I really wanted to go too. Later, there was quite the line.

Nashville

She had the best time hanging out with her cousin, Olivia!
A giant playground at the Zoo.

Climbing the ropes course was all she wanted to do.
In the Dino Trek at the Zoo. It was pretty life-like. She was a little scared of them because they moved and made noise. She wasn't as scared of the herbivores. Other little children were crying and she kept telling them "it's ok...they are just robots," but then she wouldn't get very close either.
 Diggin up bones
Watch out Michael, there's a T-Rex behind you!

mani pedi

Last Friday, AK got her hair and nails done. It was her first real manicure and pedicure. She was such a big girl! Of course, purple fingers and purple/pink toes!
She really liked the jetted foot bath.

Be My Little Baby Bumblebee

AK's dance recital was this past weekend. Of course, she was the best one! Grandpa and Gigi came to town for the performance. She says she isn't taking dance anymore so this may be our last recital. We are moving on to gymnastics now.

Her 3rd cousin, Sarah Ann was also in the recital. She did a beautiful ballet.
