just home after gymnastics. Yes, that is a scrunchie on her ankle.
Walking on her hands. She was disappointed that her toes weren't pointed enough.

Weekend news

Ava had a really great time at her first art class on Saturday. She painted the one on the right.
It finally happened! We broke ground on our house this week!

Family Visits

First, a stop in Greenville for the McGarrh family reunion. AK had fun hanging out with her cousins.
Then onto Georgia to see Meme and Pawpaw. AK was so excited to get to pick vegetables from Pawpaw's garden. She got several tomotoes.

We really enjoyed our trip to the Infantry Museum. It was really neat.

Happy 4th of July!

We went to the Country Club's 4th of July party and fireworks tonight. The fireworks were actually pretty impressive for a small town country club. AK is sporting a lovely Tracy Scott Design from the patriotic line...So cute!
This is how well glow necklaces show up on the ole iphone.

Beach!!!!

We stayed a week in Blue Mountain Beach, FL. We had really great weather and pretty rough conditions that were perfect for boogie boarding. AK loved the ocean and the pool. It was sad to make her leave.
She made friends with a 6 yr old on the beach and they met up about 4 days to boogie board in the ocean. She thought she was such a big girl!
Enjoying Gelato in Sandestin with Aunt Tracy. The little waffle cone furniture was so cute!
The shooting gallery...it won't be long till she gets her concealed weapons permit.
The sand castle she and Grandpa built.
 The pool at our house.

Summer Activities

More bike riding on her big girl bike
AK went to tennis camp for 2 weeks with the Park and Rec and two of her friends, Autumn and Ivey Kate. She really likes tennis now.

No Training Wheels Required

She just decided to take off without training wheels, and a lightbulb must have gone off. She took off and hasn't stopped since. As soon as she started riding she was singing this song: "I'm riding my bike without training wheels!" Imagine a catchy little tune. She has a song for all occasions. Pawpaw, I guess she is already training for the next bike rodeo!
