Super Bulldog Weekend

Hanging out eating popcorn with Daddy at Dudy Noble Field
Cheering on the football team at the Maroon White game with Granpa. What a gorgeous day to be on campus. We couldn't have had better weather. Plus...no losers today!

PE Tubes...Take 2

Here is Ava shortly after arriving to the surgery center on Friday waiting to get her second set of ear tubes. She was in good spirits...just upset she couldn't have her morning juice.
Gigi was in charge of the entertainment.
Ava and her "gwubs". That was actually the first thing she asked about when she woke up. "Where's my gwubs?"

Later that afternoon...showing no effects of surgery.
She also helped mommy and Gigi plant spring flowers.

The Kennel

Welcome to the Kennel...Ava's new favorite place to play. This has been a much welcomed addition to the backyard.
Down the slide...and it is really fast...even I enjoy it.

Sunday in the Park

Sunday afternoon we took Ava to the park. She had a blast climbing the rock wall... "I did it!"
Just a swingin'
on the BIG slide.

Easter 2010

Ava was very excited that the Easter Bunny came to see her. I think she was satisfied with her take. After hitting the office very early (I'm sooooo ready for tax season to end), Michael met us at church then we headed to Cracker Barrel for the traditional Easter Brunch. What...nobody else went there?

Egg Hunt 2010

For the second year, we went to our friends' house to hunt eggs. Here Ava is with her friend Autumn and her little sister, Riley.
She was fired up and ready to hunt.
Ava and Autumn showing their hard-earned candy.
Ava's new creative leg art. These stickers came with the egg dye. She spent about 30 minutes putting every single one of them on her leg. At least they aren't permenant. Hopefully this isn't giving her any ideas for her teens!

Easter Egg Art

Saturday morning Ava and I colored eggs. We had so much fun. She is a natural (she must get that from her Aunt Tracy). I think she enjoyed wearing her smock even more than coloring the eggs.
She proclaimed the purple her favorite before she also named the blue, green, pink, and orange her favorites. So much love...so few eggs.
The finished product.
She is so proud of her basket of eggs!
