Frisbee Fun

It's so fun to be able to play frisbee with the whole family now. After this filming Ava actually apologized to Ellie for saying no so many times.

Templeton Center

We had a tour of the Templeton Academic Center today prior to the baseball game. This bully almost looks real!

Of all of the faux atheletes, AK picked the soccer player to take a photo with. Maybe just since they were female?

Ava's Dance Recital Dress Rehearsal

Here is video of the dress rehearsal. Thanks to Tracy for the videography! Ava leads the line onto the stage, then she is the next to the end on the right (her friend Autumn is the one with the broken leg sitting in the chair for the dance). Sorry we didn't have video from the recital...she did better that performance. We are so proud of our little dancer! (also she is the youngest in the class).

Teddy Bears' Picnic (dance recital)

Ava had her dance recital Saturday. Tracy, Grandpa, and Gigi came for the weekend and got to see her fabulous performance. She really was the best bear!

At 6 o'clock their mommys and daddys will take them home to bed...

Zoo fun

We went to the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere on Wednesday after a big breakfast at the Pancake Pantry. We had great weather, and for once all the animals were out. Ava had great fun jumping on this bridge.

A new exhibit....the flamingos.

An old favorite...giraffes.

We finished up the day with dinner at Michael's sister's house, and AK had so much fun playing with her cousins.

Future Scientist

We went to the Adventure Science Center in Nashville. Ava had a blast and learned a little too. Here is the future Dr. Little assessing her patient.

Here we are posing in front of Jupiter (AK's favorite planet).

In case you were confused about where Earth is located, AK is kind enough to point it out.

Even serious scientists need a little fun!

I've always wanted to play one of these!

Don't worry about future earthquake engineering...AK's got it covered thanks to her one day class.
