4 members of our Shockwave 8 & under swimteam that participated in the State Swim Meet at Delta State. AK took home 3 first places and 4 second places in the 7 yr old division. We were so proud of her!!

Since we were so close to Greenville, we stayed to visit for a few days. AK and grandpa with her tree they planted together when she was one. It has gone from a sapling to this!!!

Happy 4th!! (and congrats to Women's Soccer!!)

We spent the 4th at Old Waverly Golf Club with my sister's family. After 48 hours of torrential downpours, the sun finally came out! AK became a cheetah, the babies played, we ate, and watched fabulous fireworks!!

We just spent the week in Florida. As usual, AK had a blast (we also enjoyed ourselves). Ava loves the ocean and spent pretty much all day every day in it. In addition to jumping waves and boogie boarding, we rented paddleboards for the week. She took right to that as well.

Swimming with Olympians

Sunday I took AK to Birmingham to a freestyle clinic taught by 2 former Olympic swimmers, Klete Keller and Lacey Nymeyer. They got to try on some of their Olympic medals!! The facility it was at was absolutely awesome!! Wish we had Life Time Fitness here.
