Fun at Meme and Pawpaw's

Ava, Gigi, Tracy, and I went to Georgia to visit my meme and pawpaw this past weekend. Oh how much fun it is to trap a 22 month old in her carseat for 5 to 6 hours. At least Gigi and Tracy were there to help with entertainment. Gigi is really good with the words and motions to "Deep and Wide" now.

There is always yardwork to do and Ava jumped right in to help.

Dinner there is always delicious and apparently hillarious.

One of her favorite things about the visit was this grandfather clock. Every fifteen minutes it made some sort of noise and Ava would always stop to point out clock. Unfortunately, she hasn't developed her blended "c-l" sound, so the "l" got dropped.

4th of July...pm

Mark's family invited us to join them at Old Waverly for the evening. Ava had a blast! She didn't make it for the fireworks, but I don't think she minded.

She was watching the huge golf ball hot air balloon take off. She really wanted to ride in it.

4th of July...am

We spent the morning in Greenville hanging out with my dad's family just chillin at the pool. Michael and Ava are in the middle of a noodle fight.

Engagement Celebration

We headed to Greenville for a party thrown for Mark and Tracy by our aunts and uncles. It was fabulous! Great food, great company!

Swim Date at Ivey Kate's

Saturday we went to the Brands' house to swim with Hollie, Ivey Kate, Summer, and Autumn. They all took swimming lessons the same week.

Here are the girls enjoying their "tea party".

Ava is jumping off the diving board all by herself now. She does it over and over again. I didn't try to get her on it. Right after we got in the pool, she got out and pointed at the diving board. She said "jump diving board" and walked right to it...got on it...and jumped off.

Zoo

This is the toddler play area at the Nashville Zoo. She had the best time running around it and jumping since it is totally padded. It did slightly resemble a psych ward (just as safe).

She is pointing out a giraffe. It was hard to tell her favorite. I think it was a tie between elephants, giraffes, and monkeys. She blew them kisses and told them bye. She's still talking about all the animals she saw at the zoo.
